Place cscope-indexer.bat in your PATH and it should be working with xcscope.Ĭscope-indexer.bat: off & setlocal enableextensions This is the cscope-indexer.bat I came up with. Not finding a windows compatible version, I decided to come up with my own port. Unfortunately xcscope.el uses a bash script (cscope-indexer) to generate the cscope database. I found this native win32 version of cscope ( ). Change/Add key-bindings Add function cscope-history-clear Fix bug of can’t call history related functions except in cscope buffer.Ĭhris: I have been looking to get xcscope.el and emacs to cooperate under windows XP without cygwin. Latest changes are: Change behavior of history ring to (which i think is) a more reasonable flavor. To view previous search result, call cscope-history-backward (’C-c s v’ or just ‘v’ in cscope buffer) or cscope-history-forward (’V’). USAGE: For basic usage refer to original comments. The other benifit is that, for large projects, cscope-ing sometimes could be time-consuming. I used to ask myself “how I get into function?” since the code I’m reading has really deep call stacks and I can’t keep them all in my mind. I think the primary benifit of this feature is to give us a clue how we gotten into current position. However, despite much convenience it provides there are still some guys, including me □, asking for certain new feature now and then on news groups: going back and forth the search history. Thank Darryl for bringing us such an amazing tool. And try google bscope, you will find a new cscope interface faster than xscope. Just touch the file cscope.po.out and cscope.in.out after finishing index. Does anyone have suggestion on how I should make xcscope.el work with the “-q” option? GP: I unsuccessfully tried modifying xcscope.el so that it uses the “cscope -b -q -k” options, I want the -q option on my large code base, so that symbol search becomes quicker. ( if (minibuffer-window-active-p old-buffer-window) Don't present the new buffer (file) inside minibuffer! I have made this fix: ( defun cscope-process-sentinel (process event) Mmc: I have this problem with xcscope.el: When i invoke a long time lasting search, and go into minibuffer (think M-x), when cscope finishes its job, xcsope will present the found file inside the minibuffer. I don’t know cscope.el, but I discovered xcscope.el recently – and this is really practical! Don’t use M-x grep anymore! I’ll review (and possibly absort) the patches mentioned here shortly. Following comments are about Darryl’s original xcscope.el. This xcscope.el package is currently available on MELPA and in Debian and in Ubuntu (package name is “xcscope-el”). The full change log is available in the README at the above link. This makes management of multiple searches dramatically better. Most significantly, multiple results are now displayed in the cscope buffer at a time. This tree fixes various bugs and adds various features. This package is stable, and development is continuing in its own tree ( ). xcscope.elĭarryl Okahata’s xcscope.el comes with the cscope package. Gravel is also generally not recommended if you live in an area with lots of snow and rain. If you have an expensive, low-to-the-ground car, a gravel driveway may not be the best option for you, as gravel can damage the undercarriage of your vehicle when it is kicked up. While gravel may be a great driveway option for some, it is not for everyone. It will be worth it in the long run as your project will have a longer lifeline and look much better than if you skip this step. Compact individual layers as you lay them down by tamping with a machine or hand-operated roller.ĭo not skip this step just because it will add some time to the project. This is a complaint some people have with gravel driveways-the shape being lost-but it can be avoided if you make sure the base layers of gravel are compacted.Įach layer should be about 4 inches thick and have gravel pieces smaller than the layer below it. Your driveway should be composed of various layers of gravel, but unless each layer is compacted, the driveway will not retain its shape. The best sizes of gravel for a driveway and for a garden path are not the same, so you should also keep in mind what you will be using gravel for when you purchase it from a home improvement store, a gardening store, or even from online. When in doubt, ask someone at a store for help. Make sure to pay attention to the size of gravel you are purchasing before you buy gravel for the project. The total thickness of your driveway with layers of various-sized gravel pieces should be about 12 inches. Pieces on the final, top layer should be no larger than a golf ball. Round-edged pieces are unable to lock in place with adjacent pieces, but sharp-edged pieces can be almost as solid as a single large rock. These pieces should be angular and have sharp edges. Unless your base layer of gravel pieces is at least 3 inches to 4 inches in diameter, you can expect them to shift and sink when the weight from vehicles is placed on top of them. Make sure to use side forms than add to, rather than subtract from, your home. Pick a color scheme that makes sense with the rest of your entranceway. Make sure you pick an option that will secure your gravel driveway and give the area a sophisticated look. You can get creative with the side forms. This will make it difficult to play in your yard and can damage a lawn mower or other devices if you are using them in a yard that has gravel in it.Īnother possibility is to lay a retaining wall of brick or concrete block rather than wood to prevent your gravel from spreading beyond the boundaries of the driveway. Gravel that is spread on a surface without secure wooden forms or edges will eventually be squeezed outward from the driveway and will scatter on adjacent surfaces such as sidewalks, lawns, patios, or even a nearby street. To keep this from happening, install a layer of geotextile fabric between your subsoil and the bottom layer of gravel.Īgain, do not skip this step, as burdensome as it may seem, because you will regret it in the long run when your DIY gravel driveway has a short lifespan instead of lasting years. Under these conditions, your gravel will soon become buried in a quagmire. This fine silt can cause the gravel pieces to lose their friction and begin to separate and weaken. It can even become a mud hole when silt from below is forced up into the gravel. Poor DrainageĪ driveway that is not leveled for proper drainage will eventually be damaged by eroding water. Remove your topsoil and pile it somewhere nearby where you'll be able to use it later. You will need to remove all topsoil and strip the soil down to hard rock so you will have a more dependable bed over which to lay your gravel driveway. Many people skip this step, but it is incredibly important in order to ensure a proper gravel driveway that lasts a long time and does not have issues.īuilding a driveway on soft soil that has roots, leaves, grass, weeds, and other types of debris creates a spongy surface that asks for trouble down the road. Don't even think of spreading gravel until you've prepared the ground where you'll be laying it. The AIs are just as bonkers as ever, changing their minds over serious matters in a single turn. If I really need to select that Redcoat or that Chariot before something else, it is usually fine, though sometimes I feel a certain fiddliness, a reluctance on the part of the game to do as I wish. Strategically, this doesn't often make a difference to how I play the game. But the game sometimes performs more smoothly if I follow the suggested unit selections. So generally, I use the control panel, just to avoid this occasional annoyance.ĭuring my turns, I’m able to select any unit and give it an order. On occasion, this became messy - especially if your fingers aren’t super-slender - with the line of navigation going awry. It's possible to touch a unit and sweep my finger across the map to send it to a certain point. But I’ve come across a few minor annoyances. How it plays on iPadĪs I've said, it plays out on PC just as it does on iPad. Games of Civ 6 take many hours, but because it's turn-based, you can use as much, or as little attention, as you need. The AI is a weakness in the game, but it’s definitely improved over the years. Other nations’ leaders, in single-player mode, are AIs who are generally capricious. A player who goes all-in on science and neglects defense will be invaded, while a player who neglects science to build military units will soon become obsolete and weak. But whatever route you choose, it’s essential to maintain some kind of balance. The trick is to figure out a strategy that matches the random situation you are given at the beginning of the game, or that suits your personality. You can also win by creating a powerful religion that you relentlessly export through priests, or by focusing on culture, building great wonders and creating notable citizens. You win by conquering your rivals, or by besting them in the scientific race. Firaxis Games/Aspyr MediaĪll this is supplemented by an ongoing scientific tree that you navigate, selecting the technologies that are most useful to your strategy. You fight by building various military units and upgrading them along the way. Your job is to expand your empire by exploring the neighborhood, building more cities, empowering those cities with resource-giving buildings and fighting against enemies. The other is a warrior, who can explore the map, fighting barbarians or other players. One is a settler, whom you can use to build a city, generally in a location where there are marked resources, like stone, arable land, pastoral animals or luxury goods, like copper or tobacco. You are presented with a landscape, most of which is unexplored. In Civilization 6, you are the leader of a nation, like Egypt, England or the Aztecs. If you're already a Civilization aficionado, feel free to skip the next few paragraphs. If you're looking for a deep, thoughtful, engrossing game for your iPad, and you've never played a Civilization game before, let me introduce a few of its concepts. There are minor issues, but these do not detract from an engrossing, fun experience. It’s one of the most finely implemented PC-to-mobile ports I can recall. Its touchscreen controls feel mostly natural. It looks almost as good as the PC version. My overall impression is that this is a terrific technical achievement. I've been playing on my iPad over the Christmas period. At any one time, there are dozens of units, menus, items and tiles to manage. That is to say, Civilization 6 is a really big game, especially for a mobile device. It's a useful evolution of the empire-building series, engaging geography as a major factor in societal progress while honing systems like combat, science and culture. When it arrived on PC last year, I reviewed Civilization 6 and was generally impressed. It’s the first time a full Civ game has been released on mobile, though previously we’ve seen arcadey versions like the underwhelming Civilization Revolution. This is not some “lite” version of Civ stripped down for touchscreen, mobile implementation. Publisher Aspyr Media had made no previous announcements. Civilization 6 was recently released on iPad, which came as something of a surprise. I'll reach out to Lippert and reply back. 57 or this is at least a better answer than I've gotten elsewhere. LCI may ask for that info to give you an accurate response. If you look closely, somewhere on the "A" frame near the front is a serial number and frame identification sticker. To get the scoop directly from the component OEM, give them a call. 57 or frame under your Imagine 2600RB is made by Lippert (LCI). I know, I know.this is not what you asked for, but from personal experience over two years I assure you that a LevelMatePro used with Andersen Levelers (or similar product) works very well to level a travel trailer. I completely understand what you're saying (and would love to just press a button to get my 315RLTS level) but the loss of payload vs the (relatively) small convenience of one-button leveling is not worth it (to me). Payload is already an issue with our trailers. LCI may ask for that info to give you an accurate response.įor what it's worth.a true, powered leveling system will add a significant amount of weight which will reduce the amount of "stuff" you can carry. Thanks. The frame under your Imagine 2600RB is made by Lippert (LCI). I'm hoping that someone here has the data or official word from GD that backs up (or refutes) the "don't do it!" assertion. and would love to be able to replace the jacks with so-called leveling jacks. I hate using blocks, wedges, Andersen, etc. My question has to do with the response I see about half the time: "Don't use jacks to level, it will warp your frame." Okay, but is that factual or just an old wive's tale? Trying to get to the truth. I have an Imagine 2600RB TT and I was looking at after-market jacks and noticed that many are marketed as TT leveling jacks (the descriptions go so far as to specify they replace the stabilizer jacks and are used to actually level the TT). Ya gotta keep an eye on them, they'll rust shut, to where you can't extend them.I think I have a quickly answered question but with most things RV it's hard to weed through opinion and folklore to get actual data-backed answers. My trailer sets fairly close to the garage. there is a time where its unhitched and i have to load / unload a sled and it feels like its gonna tip up, i'll just quickly roll out my floor jack to hold up the back end. The axle on this Nor-easter sets fairly far back, i've unloaded sleds ( Doo 900 & Pol Shift 550 ) with out being hitched and with out the jacks down, so that's kind'a why i left them off. Everybody's trailer and driveway, loading and unloading area is different. They'll go back on when i sell the trailer. I took them off, cleaned them, wire brushed them, painted real good with black rust-oleum. I used the trailer more this past winter then the first, so that added to the rust and salt spray. I think i used them once the whole season when unloading a sled in the driveway.Ģnd season. Sprayed them up real good with Fluid film.Īfter the 1st season the stabilizers were ok a bit rusted on the edges but not bad. Got the trailer fall of 2016, all Alum trailer. Phil Nickinson / Digital Trends YouTube TV price and add-onsĭue to a price increase in March 2023, YouTube TV now costs $73 a month (plus tax, which takes things up closer to $77 a month). Its biggest competition comes in deciding between YouTube TV and Hulu With Live TV. Like we said, the lines are there, but blurring more all the time. You may, however, find recommendations for movies and shows available to rent or purchase through YouTube itself. But you’re not yet seeing things like recommended YouTubers or YouTube Shorts living alongside the likes of ESPN and CNN. And YouTube TV is a subdomain of YouTube itself. You’ll see a bit of the same branding, which makes sense. The line between YouTube TV and YouTube proper remains fairly distinct. (Like all streaming services, what’s actually available where you live may vary a tad, so you’ll need to check your ZIP code.) YouTube TV now boasts more than 110 channels, including the four major national broadcasters - ABC, NBC, CBS, and Fox. It has also greatly expanded its collection of channels over the years. That changed in 2019 when a large expansion introduced support for all 210 markets. YouTube TV was restricted to a relatively small number of locations in the United States when it launched in 2017. It’s a replacement for a cable or satellite service that’s streamed through the Internet, available on phones, tablets, TV, and web browsers, and it lets you watch TV pretty much as you always have, from anywhere you have an internet connection, at home or on the go. Bundle up and head outside for a good time this January Seeing that he is in no position to refuse, Levi accepts. Impressed by Levi's ability and willpower, Erwin proposes a deal with him: if Levi were to join the Survey Corps, Erwin will not turn him and his companions over to the Military Police. Levi remains defiantly silent, but after Mike roughly interrogates him, Isabel and Furlan reveal that they taught themselves. With Levi and his allies restrained, Erwin questions them on where they obtained their vertical equipment, and how they became so skilled at using it. Levi attempts to resist capture but stands down upon seeing that Furlan and Isabel have already been apprehended. During the struggle, Erwin manages to cut one of Levi's cables, preventing him from fleeing. Refusing to be caught, the three choose to split up, but, despite some complicated navigating by Levi, he is tracked down by Erwin Smith and Mike Zacharias and the three engage in a brief brawl. The three delinquents skillfully maneuver their way through the Underground District, but the Survey Corps members are not so easily eluded. Levi, Furlan Church, and Isabel Magnolia are pursued by the Survey Corps in year 844, all of them utilizing vertical maneuvering equipment. Isabel, Furlan and Levi notice their pursuers Without any other choice, Levi accepts the deal. There Erwin makes a deal: if they join the Survey Corps, they will not be judged by the Military Police. Levi and his friends try to evade them by splitting them up, but his friends are finally trapped by two soldiers and Levi by Erwin Smith and Mike Zacharias. Levi guesses that they are part of the Survey Corps because they are far more skillful than the Military Police.
